Refunds

Every charge, for a first purchase or for a renewal, is refundable within fourteen days of that charge. No reason is required. Send your request to [email protected] from the email address used at purchase, or reply to your purchase confirmation email.

Paddle, the merchant of record, returns the money to your original payment method where possible. Banks typically show the refund within five to ten business days, and that timing is set by the bank, not by us. We email you when the refund is issued.

A refunded first purchase has four effects: the License ends, the Subscription is cancelled, your download links stop working, and you must remove the Software from your systems. Nothing is charged the following year. Documents you produced with the Software remain yours.

A refunded renewal reverts your coverage to the end date of the Term that preceded the refunded renewal, a date we name in our confirmation of the refund. The preceding Term remains paid, and the Software you installed under it continues to run. Versions released after that named date are not covered. The Subscription is cancelled at the close of the preceding Term, so no further charge follows unless you subscribe again.

A refund is made when a defect that cannot be fixed stops the product working as described. A request under this section must come from the email address used at purchase and must describe the failure you encountered. Nothing in this section limits your statutory remedies.

On an approved chargeback, your download links stop, and, for a first purchase, the Subscription is cancelled. The License ends, and you must remove the Software from your systems. The installed Software is not remotely deactivated.

Restoration after an approved chargeback is by writing to [email protected] and is handled by hand. Nothing on this page prevents you from disputing a payment.

The fourteen-day commitment above is ours, and it applies to every charge. A statutory right of withdrawal is separate and is not shortened by anything on this page. Paddle's refund policy describes how withdrawal works by country.
