THE RECORD · PRIVACY
Nothing much, on purpose.
What this site and this software collect, where it goes, and how to make us forget it.
The software
The products send nothing off your machine: no telemetry, no analytics, no tracking. Your documents, spreadsheets, decks, and pages are processed locally and never leave it.
One documented exception: an optional update check, at most one plain HTTPS request per seven days to pypi.org, carrying only the package name and version. Nothing about you and nothing about your files. Each server names the switch that turns it off (for example KS4WEB_UPDATE_CHECK=off).
This website
These are static pages served by GitHub Pages through Cloudflare. Both keep standard server logs (address, page, time) under their own terms; we do not receive them.
Fonts are served from this domain. There are no cookies and no analytics scripts. The product pages show a visitor counter from a third-party badge service, which receives the page view request as part of counting it. That is the whole list.
The contact form
The form collects a category, a message, and an optional name and email. A Cloudflare Worker passes it through Resend to our Zoho mailbox. The message content is never logged along the way; the delivery log records category and outcome, nothing else.
Rate limiting keeps a hashed form of your network address at our edge for up to two hours. It is never stored with your message. Once delivered, your message lives in our mailbox like any email until we delete it.
Write to any address here and we keep the thread as ordinary correspondence, used to answer you and for nothing else. No mailing lists exist, and nobody is added to anything by writing in.
Your data, your call
Want your correspondence deleted? Ask: [email protected]. There is nothing else to delete: no accounts, no profiles, no stored visitors.
